Videogame Character or Theme Amigurumi Pattern Requests Please!
I’m wanting to go on a videogame themed amigurumi bender, and I’d like to hear from the masses. I get a lot of positive feedback from folks along the lines of “I’ve been looking for a free pattern for this guy!” or gleeful statements of that sort… which makes me wonder, what other sorts of bizarre, obscure and awesome characters are people looking and waiting for?
So riddle me this, what characters or game themes would you like to get a free Amigurumi pattern for? I’ll pick one and do it up to the best of my ability then post it free. Please leave a comment or tweet me or something along those lines

I will worship you forever if you can manage amigurumi of the TF2 cast, especially Spy, Medic or Heavy. Or Link! Or a Shadow Heartless from Kingdom Hearts! Hell, ANY of the Kingdom Hearts characters/Heartless would be fantastic. Or, on an anime note, Kuma-chan or Usa-chan from Ouran or rat Yuki from Fruits Basket would be pretty easily ami-able…that’s all the ideas I got, hope you like one of them!

I agree with the above comment on Kingdom Hearts Heartless! or the Bubble Bobble dinosaurs if it’s not too old school. Now I want to play….
Kingdom hearts heartless is a good one, most preferably the Darkside. Midna from Twilight Princess would be cool or Daxter from Jak and Daxter.
Cloud Strife! Eeek! Either the original FFVII or the Advent Children versions of Cloud are both awesome! And what’s a hero without a villain…so maybe Sephiroth too? I love your Sackboy pattern! And thanks a million for posting it for free!

Sorry I forgot one more thing. Since you have the Big Daddy already, why not the Big Daddy doll that the Little Sisters in Bioshock 2 carry around? I’ve seen pics of people constructing actual versions of the doll with a baseball, push pins, wires, etc…but a crochet version would be more cuddle friendly.
I would love to see the Left 4 Dead 2 special zombies. That would be sweet! BTW I love your site and your creations! Keep it up!

I vote for Jak and Daxter, any Mario Bros characters, Sonic, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Yoshi (I would be in debt to you forever if you made a Yoshi and posted the pattern). Whoever said Bubble Bobble is my hero! That would be amazing! Umm, let’s see. Ratchet and Clank would be awesome. A moggle from Final Fantasy.

I think it would be completely awesome if you did a Link/Zelda amigurumi. They’re my favorites, but other classics like Mario characters would be cool too, or someone suggested left 4 dead, which would be incredible. I don’t know how you could manage it, but if you were to make a Master Chief, you would be the coolest person in the world.

I too would absolutely flip for a Yoshi. On a totally different side of the planet, I would also love to see a Nemesis pattern from Resident Evil. Your patterns are so awesome, that I’m sure it’ll be amazing whatever you choose to do!

omg, i would absolutely love it if you could make raz, lilly or dogan from psychonauts. actually, i think all the characters would work up pretty nicely as ami’s, and that game is probably my most favorite game ever.
i also think guybrush threepwood would make a pretty fun ami (from monkey island!)

Domo’s eyes were 8mm but I think they probably should have been 10 mm because they seemed a bit small. I will try! Thanks for the comment

I work for a charitable trust retirement village. We are competing against other villages to knit/crochet famous people. Please please help me out as i’m having trouble finding a pattern. Iv’e just become adidicted to amigurumi and if you could come up with a pattern i would be extatic!
I would aboslutely love an accurate Yoshi pattern ( I see so many that are so… ugly. Good ones are generally unavailable or expensive). Any MArio characters, really, but especially Yoshi. Also- a Zelda would be absolutely FANTASTIC!

I just finished making SackBoy from your pattern and plan on a few more as all of the kids in this family are LBP fans. Don’t know a lot about other video games other than what the kids play, but would love patterns from Viva Pinata (colorful animals! Could be fun!) or any of the Mario characters as well.
