Videogame Character or Theme Amigurumi Pattern Requests Please!
I’m wanting to go on a videogame themed amigurumi bender, and I’d like to hear from the masses. I get a lot of positive feedback from folks along the lines of “I’ve been looking for a free pattern for this guy!” or gleeful statements of that sort… which makes me wonder, what other sorts of bizarre, obscure and awesome characters are people looking and waiting for?
So riddle me this, what characters or game themes would you like to get a free Amigurumi pattern for? I’ll pick one and do it up to the best of my ability then post it free. Please leave a comment or tweet me or something along those lines

A companion cube from Portal would be awesome! I also agree with the people who suggested Bubble Bobble dragons and Pikmin. Me and my brothers loved playing Bubble Bobble when we were little, and I’d love to have cute little Pikmin around! xD
I’m also still waiting for the little sister. xP I just can’t finish my Big Daddy without her. He’d be so depressed.
Bub and Bob are 90% done, just have to sew on their limbs and do their faces.

Would be super neat if you could make an amigurumi pattern for Botan from Clannad. There isnt a thing on google for patterns ;.; and he’s sooo cute!

You’ve probably heard of Minecraft. If not, you should wiki it!
Along that line, you should come up with a pattern for a creeper from Minecraft. I think that would be fantastic.
I’ve been looking for “Plants vs Zombies” characters. I know I have seen a few in the www and came here hoping this was the place. Sigh, I must keep looking. But if you are still bored there are many characters on the game just dying to be made out of yarn. (Bad pun intended.)

Spartan from Halo, anything from minecraft (a creeper would be awesome!), RC-XD from Call of Duty Black Ops, Emboar from Pokemon Black & White, Atlas or P-Body from Portal 2, and finally a monkey from Ape Escape!

I loved the Toon Link Pattern. My friend is a huge Zelda fan. her favorite game is Twilight Princess, and she loves Midna. It would be cool to have a pattern for her, and maybe wolf Link? We both adore Pokemon (in fact most of my family does). I would love a Delibird, Gengar, Vulpix, or Espeon pattern. Then there’s alot from Monster Rancher, and maybe some Digimon? Whatever you want to do is fine. This site’s so helpful anyway.
I would love anything from Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, or Halo!

OH! Ico! The boy with horns would be fantastic!! My boyfriend thinks of that game as the myth by which he lives his life, and I think he might appreciate an *ahem* action figure…that just happens to be cuddly and adorable. And I’ve been looking for craft patterns for months because I don’t know how to write them but want to make one for him. Thank you for your brilliant site!!

I know that he is not technically a video game character, but a Batman amigurumi pattern would be great. I have found a few but none of them begin to match the quality of your work, so I was hoping that you could create one sometime. I love everything that you do and will be using your patterns for many Christmas presents for my gamer friends this holiday season. I would love a pattern for anything from Psychonauts. Raz and Lili ones would be awesome. And I know this isn’t amigurumi, but I’d love a hat like Raz’s. I’ve seen it done before in crochet, but I haven’t been able to find a pattern. But anyway, yeah.. anything from that game would be great as it is my favorite!

My boyfriend just asked for the entire Team Fortress 2 group. There are 9 characters in the game and he wants them all! Would it be possible for you to do these? It would make him extremely happy if I had patterns for these little guys

I’m taking them but I don’t really meet them LOL. They give me a really good idea of “what people want to see” type thing though which is helpful when I am looking around for what to do next. And you’re right, a My Little Pony pattern would be great!

Your patterns are awesome. It would be super sweet if you did the Pikmin characters. My friend wants me to make some for him for Halloween, but I can’t find a good pattern. I hope you have time to eventually come up with them!
I will try, I love that game. It was hard to play though I always felt tremendous guilt sending the Pikmin to their doom.

I have a few suggestions.
I’ve already seen characters from the Kingdom Hearts franchise requested, and I’d like to back it up. A shadow heartless would be cute but I have a soft spot for Sora.
And my bff is very obsessesed with Roxas/Ven. One or the other or both of those would be awesome!
Also, I saw the toon Link pattern a few months back and I was wondering if you might be making Zelda and maybe Ariel to go along with him. He looks kinda lonely with just pigs and a chuchu that the bomb won’t blow up! lol
