Alternative to Magic Ring

This technique is an alternative to starting Amigurumi with a Magic Ring, which can be difficult if you are using a grippy yarn or not a fan of the technique. It also tends to minmize the “cat butt” look of the beginning circle which is visible both in the CH 2 and Magic Ring starting techniques.

Hi! Thank you for this ! My magic circles still leave too much of a hole so this technique is great – it leaves a very neat effect with no hole. Thanks again.
