Painting Cheek Blush on Amigurumi

This tutorial demonstrates how to paint cheek blush on finished amigurumi. Some people prefer to use dabs of real blush or oil pastels, however this method is the most permanent and is not subject to changing, smearing or fading if washing. To paint cheeks on amigurumi you will need a flat or round paintbrush with a tip no larger than the size of the blush you would like to apply, some fabric paint or acrylic paint, water, paper towels and a finished amigurumi in need of blush.

I used acrylic + fabric medium and applied techniques from your tutorial. Now my Kirby hat is blushed up and ten times better. Thanks!

This is a wonderful tutorial. I’m making a Kirby from your pattern and I was clueless as to how to do the blush. Thanks for the video!

Ps. I was thrilled to see I bought the Same brand as you haha, I guess it makes me feel more professional! 😛
