Inspired by the awesomeness that is Gotham City Impostors, this amigurumi Batman has a little stubby build that matches the style of the game art in loading screens, business bat mascot and the calling card. Gotham City Impostors is probably one of my currently most favourite video-games and time vampires and one of the primary reasons for the ongoing lapse in new patterns. It’s definitely a game worth checking out if you are a fan of silly, action packed team and class based multi-player games and is available on PC, PS3 (where I play) and xbox. Amigurumi Batman’s face, eyes and bat emblem are glued on felt and the rest is pure crochet goodness made of my usual unmercerized worsted weight cotton yarn stash.
This pattern was made with a 3.5mm hook going through both loops and worked in joined rounds except where stated otherwise in the instructions. I used a 3.5mm hook and a mix of Lily Sugar n’ Cream and Peaches & Cream but any worsted weight non-stretchy yarn and hook size that will achieve good tight stitches will do.
